A New Wave of Ocean Restoration🌿
We’re excited to share some big news: Ocean Bottle is partnering with Seatrees, a pioneering organisation restoring and protecting coastal ecosystems around the world. Together, we’re taking our Autumn/Winter Twilight Campaign beyond bottles and into bold action for the ocean.
Why this matters
The backbone of our work is breaking one of the ocean’s biggest problems: plastic. In 2024 alone, we funded the collection of over 8 million kilograms of plastic before it could reach the ocean, directly supporting more than 7,900 waste collectors worldwide. But ocean health isn’t only about plastic.
We want to take it further.
We love the ocean, and we know that protecting it means going beyond plastic. Ocean health is complex, it’s about tackling climate change, restoring biodiversity, and safeguarding vital ecosystems like kelp forests, mangroves and seagrass meadows.
That’s why we defend the ocean in every way we can.
Who are Seatrees?
Seatrees is a nonprofit organisation that restores and protects coastal ecosystems around the world to reverse climate change, enhance biodiversity, and support local communities. Using a science-based approach to regenerate coral reefs, kelp forests, mangrove forests, seagrass meadows, and coastal watersheds. Like Ocean Bottle, their projects don’t just restore ecosystems, they empower local communities and build resilience for generations.
Twilight Collection: inspired by change
Our new Twilight Coastline Collection is more than a colour palette, it’s a reminder that change is possible. This season, we’ve partnered with Seatrees to fund ocean restoration projects, so every bottle sold from this collection is supporting restoration, defending the ocean not only from plastic, but also from climate change, biodiversity loss, and ecosystem collapse.
Your support will fund projects like:
Restoring mangroves in Marereni, Kenya and in Laguna San Ignacio, Baja, Mexico
Seagrass and algae meadows in Spain
Coral Reef’s in Costa Rica
Kelp Forests in Portugal.
