ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a UK Sales Manager to join our Sales team. This role will report to our Head of Sales and will be responsible for driving retail partnerships, increasing sales, and managing relationships with key accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your core areas of focus across the organisation will be:

  • Identifying and approaching potential retail partners including big-box, and key eco-friendly retailers
  • Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations to potential retail partners
  • Negotiating terms of trade agreements - MD/MKT Contribution in line with set budgets
  • Maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing retail partners
  • Upfront, seasonal planning inclusive of OTB opportunities
  • Conducting regular check-ins and strategy growth plan reviews
  • Conducting regular market research to identify potential retail partners and sales opportunities, and support wider business initiatives
  • Build a strategic wish list of customers, across multiple industries/sectors.
  • Building sales plans and clear roadmaps inclusive of: target accounts (segmentation/priorities) sales goals, and timelines.
  • Developing outreach and other marketing initiatives
  • Monitoring sales performance against targets and providing regular reports
  • Analysing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Adjusting sales strategies based on performance data and market feedback
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who will have experience in the following areas:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales within the consumer goods sector. 
  • Able to demonstrate an established network within the retail industry
  • Proven track record of building a strong pipeline, and closing large deals with Enterprise accounts across multiple sectors
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability for analytical thinking and to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent project management skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work autonomously & proactively with minimal oversight

      WHAT YOU’LL GET

      Remuneration

      We’re looking to pay a starting salary of £50,000 - £55,000 for this role, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits as detailed below.
