Since launching in January 2019 Ocean Bottle has shipped hundreds of thousands of units to 88 countries and partnered with brands including Pangaia, Red Bull, Universal Music, Golden Globes through to Ed Sheeran. We have collected 4,543,176 kgs of plastic and improved livelihoods at the same time, because whether at home or further afield, environmental justice is social justice. Will you help us get there?



We’re looking for our very first in-house engineering hire to work directly with our Head of Platform, founders and leadership team. The Engineering Lead will play a key role in leading the technical direction of our ambitious Ocean tech roadmap. We are looking to hire a dynamic technology leader to build and lead a team of talented engineers. This is a great opportunity to shape Ocean Bottle’s technology & strategy to push the boundaries of what is possible in the sustainable and environmental space.

You will help drive and develop our Technology roadmap (including our mobile app, ledger and APIs, as well as Web3 projects) and collaborate with key stakeholders (internal and external) on architecture, requirements and implementation of technical solutions. You will also support the Head of Platform in identifying our technology needs and will lead on hiring your engineering team.
