  1. DEFINITIONS

The following definitions shall have the following meaning when used in these terms and conditions.

App” shall mean the mobile application run by the Company.

Customer”, “you” shall mean anyone that downloads our App.

Company”, “us”, “our” and “we” shall mean The Ocean Bottle Ltd, company number is 11235061 (registered office address: 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU).

Refill Station” means the businesses who provide drinks to Customers by way of the App.

Refill” means when you purchase a drink at a Refill Station using your refillable bottle.


  1. INTRODUCTION

Please read this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) carefully before you use our App and the affiliated services (the “Service”). Your access to and use of our App and the Service is conditional on your acceptance of and compliance with this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors, users and others who access or use the App. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

You warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and you are at least 16 years old.

 

  1. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We collect or receive personal information in a few different ways via the App. Often, you choose what information to provide, but sometimes we require certain information for you to use, and for us to provide you with, the App and the experiences you reserve or access through the Site.

Where we make this available, you may choose to sync your account details with a third-party network, such as Facebook. If you do this, we will receive some of your Facebook account information. Exactly what information we receive will depend on your settings with the third-party network, but typically we receive your basic public profile information such as your username, email address, age range, gender, chosen language, country, friends list and any other public information.

We use personal information we receive for several purposes:

Specifically, our App servers are located in the European Union, Refill Station providers and partners operate around the world. This means that when we collect your personal information, we may process it in any of these countries.

We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any third-party website or app that you visit before you provide them with any information.

When we update our Privacy Notice, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace this Privacy Notice at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect, however, we are not bound to provide you with any notice. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
